Frequently Asked Questions
1 - Refund & Cancellation Policy
We’re happy to offer full refunds (minus any credit card fees) through April 15, 2026. After that date, as we’ll be placing final orders for conference supplies, we can offer a 50% refund (also minus credit card fees). Thanks for understanding—we do our best to keep things fair while planning a great event!
2 - Age Policy
Youth who are turning 12 anytime during the calendar year (even if they’re still 11 at the time of the conference) are welcome to join us! We also invite youth up to age 18, if they are still in high school.
3 - What to expect at conference?
LDSHE Conferences are vibrant three-day gatherings created to uplift, empower, and connect Latter-day Saint homeschooling families. From inspiring speakers and hands-on workshops to an engaging youth program and meaningful social experiences, our conferences offer something for everyone. It’s more than just a conference —it’s a place to grow in faith, find fresh ideas, and build lifelong friendships. More details can be found on our Conference Page.
4 - Parent Expectation Policy
1 - Parents acknowledge that by registering their child/children for the youth conference, they are responsible for their safety and conduct throughout the event. While LDSHE volunteers will chaperone activities, they are not responsible for the direct supervision of individual participants. 2- Parents understand that they, or a designated guardian, must remain on-site at the conference venue for the duration of the conference and are accountable for their youth’s whereabouts at all times. 3 - By participating in the youth conference, youth agree to abide by all conference rules and guidelines to ensure a safe and respectful environment for all attendees. 4- Parents understand that failure to comply with these requirements may result in removal from the conference without a refund.
5 - Youth Code of Conduct Policy
All youth are expected to: 1 -Follow standards outlined in the “For Strength of Youth” pamphlet. 2-Attend all classes and activities or be with their parents. 3-Wear their name tag at all times. 4-Be respectful to all youth and adults. 5- Show respect, stay engaged, and avoid any disruptive behavior during classes & activities.
6 - How do I volunteer?
From all over the country (and a few outside!) homeschool parents & youth come together to make LDSHE possible. And we need YOU! Join our team and make new friends, share your talent, or learn a new skill. Learn more on our volunteer page.
7 - How do I become a vendor for LDSHE?
We’re always looking for vendors to showcase opportunities. If you are interested in participating in our Vendor Marketplace at one of our conferences, please fill out the form on our Vendor Application page.
